Back to Basics 2018 – A Review (With Pictures!)

The vendor fair is great place to catch up with old friends.

There were over 260 early registrations, with many more walk-ins. It was a really busy day!

Boondock Enterprises had a workshop on jelly making and joined the vendor fair for the first time this year.

Some of the samples were hits.

Dave enjoyed the horseradish jelly.

Phil Hunsicker and Mike Duvall of the MN DNR entertained and brought inspiration to the topic of climate change and invasive species.

Erik Heimark demonstrated in a workshop how to best bake homemade bread.

Heimark also made his samples available at the vendor fair.

Sweet treats were the name of the game at the vendor fair. Different flavored honey-sticks were a quick energy boost!

Where else can you walk down the hallway with an armful of mushroom logs?!

Zahary Paige’s workshop on small-scale hemp production was well attended and well received.
