About The Event
Turtle Treks are overnight camping adventures for girls in grades 4–6, designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and instill a lasting love for the natural world. These immersive trips provide youth with an opportunity to visit parks around the state as well as in their own backyard. Participants will learn the ins and outs of camping—from setting up tents to cooking outdoors—while forming meaningful friendships and developing a stronger connection to nature that stays with them long after the trip ends.
