About The Event

This walk is located in the Pine River-Backus School Forest and is open to the public on the weekends
and weekdays after school is out at 3:30 pm. Parking is in the Norway Lake Public Access. Take County
Road 42 (24th Ave SW) just past the school and turn right at the Pine River Area Learning Center, just
across from the bus garage. Follow the road back to the access where there is ample parking. The trail into
the School Forest is on the East end of the parking lot and will be marked with a sign. There will also be
arrows pointing you in the right direction along the trail.
