Community Climate Leaders

A program providing background and skills for how to talk about the effects of climate in a way that builds community. 

 

  • Learn about local and statewide impacts of a changing climate

  • Share individual & collective action ideas

  • Make connections with others in the Pine River program as well as with other Community Climate Leaders (CCL) groups forming statewide

  • Inspire community-level action ideas ​

Sliding fee scale​

Full cost $200 per person

Format

  • Five at-your-own-pace online learning modules

  • Three webinars/meetings

  • Full-day in-person meeting at Happy Dancing Turtle in Pine River on October 30 as a wrap-up

Schedule

  • Register by Tuesday, Sept. 8

  • Online coursework available beginning Sept. 12

  • ​Webinar/meeting dates are Sept. 21, Oct. 6 and October 13. These are 90-minute sessions to be scheduled based on participant availability.

  • Full day in-person session Oct. 30 9am-4pm at Happy Dancing Turtle in Pine River
