If you're looking for farm-fresh locally-grown produce to liven up your meals, the wait is almost over. Area farmer's markets are opening up this month and as the summer progresses, you'll be able to gradually supplement your meals with healthy, and not to mention delicious, fruit, veg, and meats from area producers. But, where can you go? Where are these awesome markets?
Firstly, the great work at Minnesota Grown must be seen. If you're looking for a local farmer's market, a place to buy into a CSA program, or even a way to buy meat directly from producers, MN Grown is the place to search if you live in Minnesota.
With nearly 200 markets listed in Minnesota, the search could be difficult. However, we've done a little bit of the leg work for you and selected some of the local markets in the area. Give them a look, stop by and visit your neighbors, and be sure to support as you can, all through the summer.
