Nature Club

Students in grades 1-4 can join Michelle and Ellie for some outdoor fun! We'll meet select Mondays each month, beginning on Monday, January 14th. In each session we'll explore a new part of nature through games, lessons, activities, crafts, and more! We'll be mostly outside, so please make sure you are dressed for the weather! This includes coat, snow pants, boots, mittens/gloves, and a hat. A scarf or facemask is also highly reccomended. Register for this class through PRB Community Education. 

Dates: Select Mondays - January 14 & 28, February 11 & 25, and March 4 & 18

Time & Location: 3:15 - 5:00pm, meet in the PRB Commons    

Price: $30 for all 6 sessions

 

 

 

Living-SoilLiving Soil Lunch & Learn Series with Jim Chamberlin

 

These lunch and learn sessions will include videos and discussion from the 54th Annual Nobel Conference - Living Soil, A Universe Underfoot - that was held in Oct. at Gustavus Adolphus College. These are free and open to the public though registration is preferred through PRB Community Education. Lunch is available, free will donation accepted.

Session 1: Wednesday, January 23rd - David Montgomery - Growing a Revolution: Brining our Soil Back to Life

Session 2: Wednesday, February 27th - Jack Gilbert - The Earth Microbiome Project

Session 3: Wednesday, March  27th - Ray Archuleta - Healthing the Land: One Heart, One Mind at a Time 

Time & Location: 12:00-1:00pm, Happy Dancing Turtle
