   Happy Dancing Turtle Nature Club

      When: Select Mondays from 3:15-5:00pm
      Next Series: April 2 & 16, May 7 & 21

      Fee: $20 per series (each with 4 sessions)
      Ages: 1st-4th Graders
      Location: Meet in the PRB Commons

Join Happy Dancing Turtle staff members Michelle and Allison for some outdoor fun! In each session, we’ll explore a new part of nature through games, lessons, activities, crafts, & more! We will be mostly outside, so please make sure students are prepared for all types of weather!

Beginning Organic Gardening

When: Wednesday, May 2, 6-8 pm

Fee: $10

Location: PR-B High School, Room 58

What:  Learn the basic principles to build soil health in your garden. Learn hands-on tips in growing nutrient dense produce for your organic garden. Understand the basic soil health principles and how to implement them in your garden. Learn the basics of soil testing and how they apply to organic production. Hands-on tips to get growers started in improving soil and productivity of their gardens. Instructor:  Jim Chamberlin.


Growing Mushrooms for Fun or Profit

When:  Wednesday, May 9, 6-8 pm

Fee:  $20

Location:  Hunt Utilities Group Resilient Living Campus, Hwy 2 West, Pine River

What:  Learn the basics of growing mushrooms for your kitchen and pantry. Discuss what it takes to grow mushrooms as a business. For only $20 you get information and bring home 2 logs! Instructor:  Jim Chamberlin
