Pack your backpack, bring your sleeping bag, and join camp leaders Barb Hines & Teri McAllister at a camp-in! Learn how to keep your camp food safe from bears, where and how to build your fire, make great food for your camping trip, make a survival kit, find your way in the woods, make your own soap, paper, and many other camping & survival skills.

Bring a sleeping bag, pillow, pajamas, toothbrush & toothpaste. Dress for outdoor activities. Dinner, breakfast, & snacks will be provided.

Are you ready to get your hands dirty and grow your own fresh veggies? In this three-part series, learn some techniques to get you started on the fresh crunch of summer. Don’t have a lot of space? Learn some space-saving techniques and companion gardening tips. There is a community garden opening at Pine River-Backus School, and would be a perfect plot for your growing aspirations. Everyone signed up for the June 3 session receives a free tomato plant! Bring note-taking materials and any questions. Dress to get dirty!
